A 14k gold bead creates this simple necklace design. Its understand design is great for day-to-day wear. Choose from white or yellow gold.
- I like the thin chain as it blends into my complexion and almost unnoticeable until you get to the ball pendant. It’s just a lovely delicate piece to layer or wear on it’s own. I haven’t had it for long, but have worn it a lot since I have owned it and am very pleased. It’s a nice necklace when you need *something* but not much! I do store it on a separate hook and not jumbled together with other necklaces due to the thin chain, but that isn’t a problem.
- There’s no question that this necklace is a lightweight (hollow) gold bead that floats on a thin gold chain … the only question is whether the necklace is delicate and classy or flimsy and overpriced. My vote is “delicate and classy.”I don’t mean to brag, but if there’s a way to break, lose, stain, or otherwise ruin an item, I can do it faster than anyone I know. But I’ve worn this necklace over and over for months now and it remains in perfect condition. The gold bead sits about an inch below the neckline. The bead is small but its shine grabs attention. The simple oval link chain has a shine to it as well, but it stands out less due to its thinness. As a result, if the necklace is worn against skin (as opposed to clothing), at first glance the gold bead appears to be floating on its own. This really is a “dress it up or down” kind of necklace — the only place I’d recommend against wearing it would be a day care filled with toddlers who’ll reach for and yank on anything shiny.I’m super happy with my purchase!!
- I love the simplicity of this necklace. I have purchased a 20″ chain for it and will wear it more once the new chain is on. I will have to take it to a jeweler to have the chain replaced as the hole in the ball is too narrow for the chain closure to go through. I am sure I will wear it a lot once this is done.
